For several months I have followed what I think is one of the most interesting blogs on the internet- My Thai Friend.
My Thai Friend, or better known as "MTF" to those of us who follow it closely, is composed by a retired Englishman living in Thailand. The blog is a mix of Thai culture, the author's activities in his new home, and an expat's perspective on a variety of topics in his new home.
Mike, the "TEFL Don", writes eloquently and honestly about what he sees, how he feels, and the information is not only entertaining, but educational as well. Most posts are supplemented by gorgeous pictures of The Land of Smiles.
MTF is updated regularly by one of the internet's most likable gentlemen, and is a must-read, especially for those who enjoy Asian culture and beautiful scenery. And if you are an expat, to or from any country on the planet, the posts focusing on expat issues and life is something you shouldn't pass by.

Hi Tony I just came across this when checking my blog-having a few problems with search results.
Thanks for the glowing write up!
I like the blog title-good idea.
You're welcome Mike, it's very much deserved.
Yah, the title gets some of the oddest visitors. You'd be surprised at what "current situation" people search for. Some examples from my Google results-
"current situation of pickles"
"current situation of Korea"
"current situation of Yahoo"
"current situation of foam rubber"
