Anyone who has traveled around the world knows the Philippines has the best food on the planet. The fish, fruits, and BBQ are unbeatable and unlike anywhere else, and living in the right places will get these to you as fresh as you can imagine.
But unless you are lucky enough (like me!) to marry a Filipina, chances are the only place you'll get the delicious cuisine of the Philippines is if you travel there. In most places around the country there isn't a Filipino restaurant (though we are lucky enough to have one near us).
But Annie Lou's Kitchen Adventure blog changes all of that. Now there is no need to travel 14 or so time zones east to get what your mouth has been craving.
Born and raised in the Philippines, she learned how to cook authentic Filipino dishes, from scratch! And now there is a place where you can see her personal recipes, along with the best from Filipino restaurants and delis across the Metroplex. There's recipes for Filipino Pork BBQ, Fried Milkfish, Pancit Canton, Lechon Kawali, and more!
For those that don't like Filipino food, there's also American dishes listed, that will give you ideas to supplement your meals.
