And it's a good birthday!
I'm alive, somewhat healthy, my girls are healthy and happy, I have Annie Lou, and my life is moving forward in directions I never imagined it would go. So yes, life is good.
Today, with Annie's guidance and love, I try to be content with the way things are, instead of pushing for things to be the way I want them to always be. I've learned a new way to love, I've learned compassion for others, and I've learned forgiveness towards those who have harmed me. Now it is time to master patience and being content with the plan God has laid out for me and those I love. (I think this is going to be the most difficult lesson thus far!)
So, yes, it is a happy birthday to me...... there is nothing else I could ask for.
